Women's Golf Visits Ohio For Roseann Schwartz Invitational

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team is back in action this weekend, as the Mastodons visit Boardman, Ohio to play in Youngstown State's Roseann Schwartz Invitational.

About the Course
Mill Creek Golf Course features two 18-hole championship courses designed by Donald Ross that opened to the public in 1928. Both courses are par 70 with four sets of tees, stretching from 5095 yards to 6511 yards. The South Course plays over a flat terrain with tree-lined fairways. Natural areas and streams come into play on five holes. The South Course has been selected by Golfweek as one of America's 30 Best Municipal Courses. The North Course weaves through tall trees and includes a variety of natural hazards.

Hunar Mittal, Lillian Gottman, Natalie Papa, Olivia Jang and Louise Ekesall will compete for the team score. Lara Dommach will play as an individual.

The Mastodons are coming off the best season in program history, which saw Purdue Fort Wayne set new records in single-season scoring (307.6), winning percentage (.570), low-54 (901) and wins (2).
Last Time Out
The Mastodons tied for 10th at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational early in September. Hunar Mittal had a team-best 237.
Coming Up
Purdue Fort Wayne will head to Port Clinton, Ohio to play in the Rocket Classic on September 30-October 1. Toledo's event will feature two other Horizon League teams: Detroit Mercy and Green Bay.
