
Sep Habibi Named #HLMSOC Defensive Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS – The first-place Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer team picked up a weekly honor on Monday (Oct. 13) with Sep Habibi earning the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week award.
Habibi had five saves in a 1-0 shutout victory over IU Indianapolis on Saturday. He now owns five individual shutouts in 2025, most in the Horizon League.
He has a .762 goals against average in 2025, best in the league. This is Habibi's first career league honor.
Purdue Fort Wayne is the only team in the league allowing less than a goal a game at .73 goals surrendered per contest.
The Mastodons are at home on Saturday (Oct. 18) in a 3 p.m. start against Green Bay. It will be Senior Day for the Mastodons.
