Milwaukee Wins Halloween #HLVB Contest

MILWAUKEE - Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball fell to Milwuakee 3-1 (25-22, 25-13, 20-25, 25-21) on Halloween night (Oct. 31).
The Panthers defended their home court despite the Mastodons racking up 13 blocks. Jena Medearis had a season-high seven blocks, including three of the solo variety.
The middles were solid for the Mastodons, as Medearis finished with seven kills and seven blocks and Mya Plemons had 12 kills on a .478 hitting percentage and four blocks.
The Mastodons were at their best in the third set, which saw the 'Dons out-hit the Panthers .243-.140. Riley Rosneck had five kills of her 12 kills in set three alone. It was 20-19 late in the third, then the Mastodons had two blocks and a kill from Rosneck to extend the match.
Plemons was the best for the 'Dons in set four, racking up six kills on six swings.
Four Panthers had double-digit kills.
