Hadnot Scores 32 in Setback at WMU

KALAMZOO, Mich. – Corey Hadnot II had a career-high 32 points in Purdue Fort Wayne's 83-71 men's basketball loss at Western Michigan on Wednesday (Nov. 12) evening.
Hadnot added four steals to go with his 32 points. DeAndre Craig Jr. recorded 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Western Michigan out-shot Purdue Fort Wayne 44 percent to 35 percent in the contest. The Broncos did their damage in the second half, out-scoring the 'Dons 51-34 in the final 20 minutes to erase a five-point Mastodon advantage at the break. Jayden Brewer had a team-high 26 points for WMU. 21 points came in the second half.
Western Michigan improves to 2-2. The 'Dons fall to 1-3. The 'Dons host Boyce on Saturday.
