NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team shot a 295 on Monday (March 10) during the first day of the Surf Club Invitational hosted by Appalachian State. The 295 tied North Carolina A&T for 12th place.
Nick Bellush led the Mastodons with a 72 to tie for 24th. He had four birdies. Brock Reschly totaled a 73 for 38th and Nick Holder had a 74 to tie for 50th. AJ Agnew finished with a 76. Julian Dugan had a 78.
Cody Coleman carded a 76 and Jarred Bowser shot an 81 playing as individuals.
Heavy rain forced the 54-hole event to a 36-hole competition. Tuesday's final round will start at 9:30 a.m.
UConn (280) is in first after day one.
