FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team will host its inaugural Hammock Beach Invitational this week (March 13-14) in Palm Coast, Florida.

Marked by sparkling streams, waterfalls and detailed stone work, this magnificent course is a true masterpiece. Named after the British-styled glass domed clubhouse, the Conservatory course was meticulously designed by golf champion Tom Watson with nods to British links-style golf.

Purdue Fort Wayne was picked for third in the Horizon League Preseason Poll. This marks the highest the Mastodons have ever been selected in a league preseason poll.
Inching Her Way To The Top
Hunar Mittal finished seventh in the Horizon League Championships to finish off the 2024 season. Mittal finished with a score of 75-79-81-235. This put Mittal at the second-highest finish a Mastodon has ever recorded at a league championship and the best in the past 10 years.
Simply The Best
Olivia Jang owns the best scoring average in program history with an 18-hole average of 76.66. She also has the best winning percentage of any Mastodon with a 78.0 percent clip.
Golfer of the Week
Olivia Jang was selected as the Horizon League Golfer of the Week for the second time in her career after her runner-up finish at the Islander Classic. She shot 75-72-77-224.
Last Time Out
The Mastodons finished third at the NKU Spring Fling thanks to a pair of top-five finishes from Lillian Gottman and Lara Dommach.

Purdue Fort Wayne will return to the Midwest to play in NKU's The Julie in Batavia, Ohio on March 23-24.
