Louiza Kruiswijk Breaks Long Jump School Record at Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field team finished competition at Indiana State's Pacesetter Sports Invitational on Saturday (March 29).
Senior Louiza Kruiswijk broke the long jump school record after clearing 5.97 meters. The mark sits first among Horizon League standings. Freshman Kaylee Rogaczewski set a personal record in the event, jumping 5.65 meters.
Marissa Van De Weg beat out all competition in the 400 meter hurdles at the Pacesetter Invitational. Her personal-record time of 1:01.59 sits first in the league. Amelie Mach completed her first collegiate 400 meter hurdle in 1:04.49, which placed fifth in the HL.
The Mastodon 4x100 meter relay team of Jordan Yanders, Lillian Hurd, Aniya Young and Harmony Johnson completed the Horizon League quickest time of 46.77.
Ella Jenkins set a personal record in the 100 meter hurdles. Her time of 14.26 ranks third in the league. Senior Jordan Yanders completed the event in 14.43 to sit fifth in the HL. Freshman Jaliyah Page ran a personal record time of 14.93.
Johnson completed her first collegiate 100 meter dash in 12.06, ranking fourth Horizon League standings. Young ran a personal record time in the event (12.13).
Freshman Sanayah Ruffin ran the league's fourth-quickest 400 meter dash at Indiana State (58.50).
Johnson (25.05) and Ruffin (25.38) both ran personal record times in the 200 meter dash.
Emery Carrico threw a personal record 37.38 meter mark in javelin.
Freshman Faith Norris ran a personal record 1500 meters (4:53.58).
The Mastodons will be traveling to Michigan State's Spartan Invite and High Point's VertKlasse Meeting on Friday (April 4).
