
Five Named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Five Mastodons were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list this week.
Grace Hollopeter had a 3.68 GPA in the business program. She was named an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete twice and earned three Horizon League Academic Honor Roll nods. On the field, she was a two-time All-Horizon League First Team honoree, a five-time Player of the Week recipient and was selected to the Horizon League Championship All-Tournament Team. Hollopeter had a career slugging percentage of .638, a program-best. Hollopeter moved on to the CSC All-America voting stage.
Brooke Lickey earned a 3.73 GPA in her pursuit of an elementary education degree. She was also a two-time NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and three-time Academic Honor Roll honoree. She was also a Purdue Fort Wayne Top 50 student. Lickey was in the top-10 in the program's sacrifice flies, sacrifice bunts and assists lists. This is her second CSC Academic All-District nod.
Bailey Manos worked to a 3.62 GPA in the business program. She earned an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete nod and three Academic Honor Roll distinctions from the Horizon League. She also was an honorable mention for the Horizon League All-Academic Team. Manos was an All-League First Team performer and was selected to the Horizon League Championship All-Tournament Team. She had a .342 batting average, scored 97 runs and had 150 hits in her career, all top-10 in program history.
McKenna Minton earned a 3.98 GPA in elementary education. She was an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete in 2024. Minton had a career batting average of .245 and started 86 games in her two seasons with the Mastodons.
Kennedy Peckinpaugh had a 3.97 GPA, also in the elementary education program. She was a two-time NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and three-time Horizon League Academic Honor Roll recipient. She had a .187 batting average, starting in 50 games in her three years at Purdue Fort Wayne.
