
Jon Coffman Named Red Coat Honoree by Mad Anthonys Foundation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Purdue Fort Wayne men's basketball head coach Jon Coffman has been selected as a Red Coat recipient from the Mad Anthonys Foundation. Each year the Red Coat is given to an individual that has made a positive impact on the region and the state of Indiana.
Also receiving the Red Coat honor this year are local philanthropists Mike and Kathy Eikenberry.
A few of the previous honorees include: Keith Busse, Chuck Surack, Brad Stevens, Bob Chase, Arnie Ball, Shelley Long, Matt Painter, Brian Kelly, Brad Stevens, Joe Tiller, Bob Knight and John Wooden.
The Red Coat Gala has been held since 1958. This year's event is May 17 at the Clyde Theater. Tickets can be purchased here at this link.
The 2025-26 season will be Coffman's 12th at the helm of the Mastodons. He owns a program-record 198 victories with a pair of league coach of the year honors.
