
Five 'Dons Earn CSC At-Large Academic All-District Honor

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Five Purdue Fort Wayne student-athletes, three men's golf and two men's volleyball, were selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team, CSC announced on Tuesday (June 17).
The three men's golfers to earn the honor were Nick Bellush, Nick Holder and Brock Reschly. The two men's volleyball players selected for the team were Andrew Mayer and Logan Muir. This is the first honor for all except Holder, who picked up his third CSC Academic All-District award.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
Bellush owns a 3.65 GPA through two years in the business program. He earned a Horizon League Academic Honor Roll distinction last fall in his first season eligible. As a sophomore, Bellush had a season average of 76.32 and earned a spot in the lineup for the Horizon League Championship.
Holder has a 3.76 GPA through his fourth year at Purdue Fort Wayne. In addition to his third CSC Academic All-District award, Holder has been named a GCAA All-America Scholar, five-time Horizon League Academic Honor Roll recipient and Purdue Fort Wayne Top 50 student. On the course, he had an 18-hole average of 75.21.
Reschly has a 3.91 GPA in his pursuit of an accounting degree. He was selected to the Horizon League All-Academic Team as a sophomore and earned a Horizon League Academic Honor Roll selection in the fall of 2024. Reschly had a season average of 74.61, the fifth-best by a sophomore in program history.
Mayer has a 3.82 GPA after two years in the biology program. Mayer is a two-time MIVA Academic All-Conference recipient. As a sophomore, Mayer racked up 168 digs, by far the most on the team, for an average of 1.77 per set.
Muir owns a 3.68 GPA in the data science program. He is also a two-time MIVA Academic All-Conference honoree and was named to the All-MIVA Second Team in 2025. Last season, he registered 391 kills, a team-high mark.
