Mastodon WBB to Play Nebraska in Emerald Coast Classic

NICEVILLE, Fla. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball team will play the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Emerald Coast Classic at 6 p.m. ET on November 24, Global Sports announced on Tuesday (June 17).
Eight teams will compete in the tournament Nov. 24-25 which will be held at Raider Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College.
Championships will be determined in two brackets. Mississippi State, Providence, Middle Tennessee State and Alcorn State will play in the Bay Bracket. Nebraska, Virginia, Northwestern State and Purdue Fort Wayne comprise the Beach Bracket.
The Mastodons and Cornhuskers will play in their semifinal game at 6 p.m. ET before Virginia and Northwestern State play at 8:30 ET. The third-place game will start at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 25 with the championship game slated for 8:30 p.m. ET.
FloSports will live stream all games in the Emerald Coast Classic.
Tickets for the tournament will go on sale later this summer through www.emeraldcoastclassic.com.
