FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball has signed five transfers for the 2025-26 season: Lauren Lee (Campbellsville - Dunnville, Ky.), Lili Krasovec (Boston College - Budapest, Hungary), Nika Lokica (Idaho State - Split, Croatia), Alana Nelson (Spring Arbor - Springport, Mich.) and Alyssa Berry (Morehead State - Pearland, Texas).
Lee is a 5-foot-7 point guard out of Dunnville, Kentucky. She spent the last five years at Campbellsville University, an NAIA institution in Kentucky, where she was named an NAIA All-American twice. Over her career, Lee averaged 10.7 points and 5.0 assists per game, but upped it to 17.0 and 5.7 in her final season. Lee did most of her damage inside the arc, making 158 of her 174 field goals from 2-point range last year. She scored over 1,600 points in her Tiger career. She was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection and was the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year in 2025. Prior to college, she led Casey County High School to a pair of All-District and All-Region titles. Lee has one year of eligibility remaining.
"Lauren is a do-whatever-it-takes type of player and we love that," Marchesano said. "She prefers to distribute and create for others but this past year was relied on for scoring and excelled in both roles. She brings a lot of years of experience in a winning program and we are pumped to add her not only as a talented guard, but as a culture piece as we continue to hold our standard here high."
Krasovec is a 6-foot-3 forward from Budapest, Hungary and played her last two years of college ball at Boston College. She played in 44 games for the Eagles in a limited role, scoring 80 points and grabbing 65 rebounds. She shot 44.4 percent from the floor in two seasons and an even better 52.9 percent in 2024-25. Krasovec scored a career-high 12 points against Stonehill in 2023. Prior to BC, she played for the U16, U19 and U20 Hungarian National Teams, Radobasket (2012-17), and Csata DSE (2017-20). Krasovec has two years of eligibility remaining.
"We needed to replace Jazzy and Syd and we are pumped we were able to do that with even more size and length with Lili," Marchesano said. "She is a solid 6-foot-3 and extremely mobile. She has spent the past two years competing at a high level in the ACC and we are excited to see her grow and flourish in our systems!"
Lokica, a 5-foot-10 guard from Croatia, spent the last three years at Idaho State, playing in two of them. She played in 43 games with 22 starts for the Bengals, scoring 250 points in two years. She shot 42.9 percent from 3-point range as a redshirt-sophomore and scored a career-high 14 points in a game in just 18 minutes. Prior to Idaho State, she played for Basketball Academy Žana Lelas in Croatia, where she won the national championship twice. Her team placed second at Senior Women's League and was the national championship runner-up twice and she was named the MVP twice. In the national championship game in 2017, Lokica tallied 33 points, six rebounds and six assists. She has two years of eligibility left.
"Nika's size and strength combined with her ability to shoot the ball are going to be great fits here in Fort Wayne," Marchesano said. "She also has the ability to handle the ball, create for others and loves pushing the pace, which we love! She has had great stretches of success at the Division I level and we are excited about all of the different areas of the game she has the potential to impact!"
Nelson is a 6-foot forward that spent two years at Division II Northwood University before the last three at NAIA Spring Arbor. The Springport, Michigan native averaged 10.0 points per game in her first two years of college ball, then dominated the NAIA, averaging nearly 20 points per game for three years. In her last year at Spring Arbor, she was at 21.6 points per game, scoring 30 or more five times and a career-high 40 at Midway. She shot 46.9 percent from the floor and 36.0 percent from 3-point land in 90 games at Spring Arbor. Prior to her collegiate career, Nelson was a two-time All-State honoree and three-time league MVP for Springport High School. Nelson will use her final year of eligibility with the 'Dons.
"When you think of Mastodon type player, Alana really fits that bill," Marchesano said. "She can score it in a number of ways, has a strong athletic build, shoots it efficiently from three, and has a grittiness to her game that we love to see. The fact that she's a strong rebounder is icing on the cake as that's an area we have struggled with in the past. She was a huge get for us and we are excited she is spending her last year with us!"
Berry is a 5-foot-7 guard from Pearland, Texas. She spent the last two years at Morehead State after a year at NJCAA member Hill College. She was named an NJCAA All-American after averaging 17.4 points per game at Hill. In two years at Morehead State, Berry played in 15 games and averaged 6.5 points per contest. Berry has two years of eligibility left.
"Alyssa is a high-IQ combo guard who makes great reads on and off the ball," Marchesano said. "She can shoot it as well as create and distribute to teammates. She is a basketball junkie with a huge love for the game and a desire to get better. She brings with her a good amount of experience and has a couple years to spend with us, which is a huge bonus!"
Lee, Krasovec, Lokica, Nelson and Berry will join the Mastodons for the 2025-26 season.
