Women Selected Fourth in #HLXC Preseason Poll

INDIANAPOLIS - The 2025 Under Armor Horizon League Cross Country Preseason Polls have been released, and the Purdue Fort Wayne women's cross country team was selected fourth. The Mastodon men's cross country team was tied for fifth in voting.
The Purdue Fort Wayne women's team placed fourth on the 11-team poll with 97 points. Robert Morris (111) was selected as favorites on the women's side, with Youngstown State (102) and Oakland (99) following.
The men's team tied for fifth place, out of 10, with 55 points. Youngstown State (98), IU Indianapolis (86) and Oakland (73) sit on top of the poll.
The Mastodon women's team took third in last year's Horizon League Championship, The 'Dons return a pair of seniors that finished top-10 in the Horizon League Championship. Riley Tate earned a spot on the First Team All-Horizon League team after finishing sixth. Ava Genovese earned a spot on the Second Team All-Horizon League squad, placing ninth at the meet.
The Mastodon men's team earned sixth at last season's Horizon League Championship. The 'Dons return their top-two finishers from last season, seniors Harrison Niswander (17th) and Austin Hall (24th).
