FORT WAYNE, Ind. - No. 5 seed Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball will play host to the No. 6 seed Robert Morris Colonials on Wednesday (March 4) at 7 p.m. in the first round of the Barbasol Horizon League Championship.

The Colonials closed out the 2025-26 regular season with a 62-50 win over Wright State to end the regular season with an 18-11 overall record and an 11-9 record against Horizon League foes. The Colonials are led by Myriam Traore (13.4 PPG) and Aislin Malcolm (12.0 PPG), who were both named to the All-Horizon League Third Team.

Purdue Fort Wayne leads the series 7-6 with a 4-3 mark at home. The two teams split the regular season, with RMU taking a 74-64 win at home and the Mastodons earning a 60-46 win at home. The pair have met just once in the Horizon League Championship, a game in 2022 that Robert Morris won 70-56 in Moon Township.

Purdue Fort Wayne beat Green Bay for the second time in the series history on February 28 with a 71-66 victory on Senior Day. Alana Nelson had a team-high 18 points.
