Noah Morris Named #HLTF Runner of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS - The Purdue Fort Wayne's men's track and field sprinter Noah Morris was named the Horizon League's Men's Runner of the Week on Tuesday (April 21).
Morris claimed the award after his performance at the Wake Forest Invitational on Friday (April 17).
The sophomore ran the Horizon League's fastest 200 meter dash at the meet. His time of 20.89 would have broken the school record if it was not for wind conditions. The mark stands as the ninth best in the Great Lakes Region.
The Michigan native also ran a personal record 100 meter dash the same day. His time of 10.53 is the second-fastest in the league. The mark sits at 21st in the Great Lakes Region.
This is Morris' first Horizon League Runner of the Week selection, and the first Mastodon selected during the outdoor season.
The 'Dons will travel to the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet (April 24-25) for the last meet before the Horizon League Outdoor Championships (May 8-10).
