Purdue Fort Wayne 4x400 Shines at Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field team competed at Michigan State's Spartan Invitational on Friday (April 3).
The Mastodon 4x400 squad of Cainen Northington, Noah Morris, Ambrose English and Aaron Hoffer ran a blazing 3:23.37. The time sits as the fastest Horizon League relay.
Freshmen Hoffer and Ashton Brann lined the league top-five rankings in the 400 meter hurdles. Hoffer's personal record time of 54.88 sits second in the HL, while Brann's first collegiate attempt in the event (56.60) is fourth.
Morris led the 'Dons in the 200 meter dash, running the Horizon League's second-fastest time of 21.84.
Hunter Crew threw a 52.36 meter hammer throw toss, the league's second furthest.
Ezra Lewellen ran an 11 second 100 meter dash, sitting third in the HL rankings.
Alex Evans threw the Horizon League's third longest javelin mark of the season, reaching 48.44 meters.
Jackson Marshall ran a personal record 4:22.78 1500 meters time.
Denton Jacobs threw a personal record discus throw mark of 44.23 meters.
