FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball will hit the road for the final time in the non-league slate this week with a trip to Illinois State for the Linda Herman Volleyball Classic.

Know Your Foes
• Lindenwood is 5-2 this season and is coming off a 3-0 loss at Illinois on Wednesday evening (Sept. 9). The Lions have already played one match against a Horizon League team, Northern Illinois, and won 3-0. Susanna Beretti leads the team with 3.16 kills per set.
• Western Illinois is 0-6 this season with losses to Missouri, Towson, Idaho, South Dakota State, Bradley and Northern Arizona. Kennedy Adair and Ashlee Markert are both averaging between 2.00 and 2.50 kills per set this season.
• Illinois State is a stout 5-1, picking up wins over NJIT, FDU, Central Michigan (x2), and Eastern Michigan. Jillian Ferrill is averaging 3.07 kills per set to lead the Redbirds, who averaged 14.0 kills per set as a team.

Series Histories
• While the Mastodon men have played Lindenwood many times in MIVA play, the women have met with the Lions just once in 2022. It was a 3-0 win for the 'Dons and the 100th win for head coach Steve Florio in his career.
• The 'Dons and Western Illinois have met 30 times, most of which came when the two were Summit League rivals. Purdue Fort Wayne leads 23-7, but the two teams have never met on a neutral court.
• The Mastodons have also only played Illinois State just once, a 2013 meeting in Indianapolis that resulted in a 3-0 win for ISU.

When Life Gives You Plemons
Mya Plemons has a .352 career hitting percentage, the second-best in program history and the best in the rally scoring era. Her .365 hitting percentage last season was the best for a season-long mark in the rally scoring era. She is even better this season at .370, but has not yet met the minimum of attempts for the record book.

Raucous Rosneck
Riley Rosneck was selected as the Horizon League Player of the Week on Aug. 31 after leading the 'Dons to wins over Rutgers and Evansville.

B1G Busters
Purdue Fort Wayne beat Rutgers 3-2 on August 28, marking the first Mastodon victory over a Big Ten program since 1986 when they beat Ohio State. The 'Dons' win over Rutgers was a reverse sweep and featured a career-high 27 kills from Trinity Rye.

She's A Killer
Riley Rosneck has 116 kills this season, which is the fourth-most in the nation.

Dig it Up!
Becky Barrett is fourth in the country with 129 digs this season.

1,000 Club
Becky Barrett recorded the 1,000th dig of her Mastodon career at Bellarmine on August 29.

Chasing 1,000
Riley Rosneck has a chance to join the 1,000-kill club this season. She owns 813 kills in her Mastodon career.
