Nick Antonelli is entering his eighth academic year at Purdue Fort Wayne in 2021-22.
After graduating in 2010 from Michigan State with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Nick then went on to complete a year-long internship at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Antonelli then made his way to Columbia, Missouri to serve as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the men's and women's swimming and diving teams and assisted with football. After graduating from the University of Missouri in the spring of 2014 with a master's degree, Antonelli accepted a position as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Purdue Fort Wayne with primary coverage of the men's basketball team. In May 2017, Antonelli was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer and just one year later was again promoted to Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine.
Antonelli has been trained in Graston Technique, Functional Movement Screening, and Osteopathic Manual Medicine and has a passion to learn more manual medicine techniques. Nick, and all members of his staff, are nationally certified and licensed in the state of Indiana.
