Ryan "Rock" Perrotte was named the head coach of the Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball program in 2016 after spending 13 seasons as an assistant coach under Hall of Fame head coach Arnie Ball.
Perrotte received a master's degree in professional communications from Purdue Fort Wayne and a bachelor's degree in business accounting from IU Fort Wayne. Rock has been a sports broadcaster since 1999 for the ESPN Radio, Purdue Fort Wayne Athletics broadcasts, and College Access Channel, providing outstanding play-by-play and insightful color commentary.
A proud native of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Perrotte came to Purdue Fort Wayne in the fall of 1995 and was a four-year starter at middle blocker for the Mastodons. He was a member of the 1999 MIVA championship team that earned a berth to the national semifinal.
Perrotte resides in Fort Wayne.
