Sam Battistone was named the Assistant Athletic Director for the Mastodon Academic Performance Center in July 2019. He came to Purdue Fort Wayne as the Assistant Director of the MAP Center in February 2017 before receiving his new title in 2019.
He advises the Purdue Fort Wayne’ men and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s golf, and men’s volleyball teams.
Before coming to Purdue Fort Wayne, Battistone spent nearly 10 years at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) serving in many different roles. From June 2016-January 2017, he was an Academic Advisor for the College of Arts and Science advising incoming freshmen and undeclared students. Prior to advising, he served as a Student Records Specialist in the University Registrar’s Office and as the graduate assistant for the NKU Athletics Department.
Battistone graduated from Northern Kentucky University – Salmon P. Chase College of Law in December 2015 with a Juris Doctor and in May 2012 with a degree in Sports Business.
He currently resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his wife Hannah.
