Shaun Dryden enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the IPFW women’s volleyball program. Dryden played for the IPFW men’s volleyball team from 2009-11 after transferring from Los Angeles Pierce College.
Dryden’s name can be found in the IPFW men’s volleyball record books. He set the single-season digs record in 2010 with 292. He averaged 2.70 digs per set during his junior season. Dryden was also a standout student-athlete in the classroom making the 2011 Dean’s List for his academics.
Dryden has extensive coaching experience at the camp level. He has been involved with the GCVA Volleyball Camp for six years. He was also a camp coach at Houston Baptist, the University of Texas, and the AVA volleyball camp in 2010.
Dryden was a USA Volleyball Independent contractor in 2011 and 2010. He became interested in coaching after serving as a coach for the Houston Volleyball Academy from 2006-07.
