Sean Gibson left IPFW as the school's men's basketball All-Time Leading Scorer (1,765). The four-year letter winner and two year captain is also the leading rebounder in IPFW history (965). Gibson helped lead IPFW to its first Great Lakes Valley Conference men's basketball championship and birth to the NCAA Tournament (1992-93). He was named GLVC Player of the Year in 1992-93. He was named All-GLVC 1st Team in 1991-92 and 1992-93. He was also named 2nd Team All-GLVC in 1990-91. Gibson holds school records for career free throws made (557), season free throws made (208), rebounds in a season (279), and is third in career block shots (105). After graduating from IPFW, Gibson played professional basketball for five seasons, three in Spain, one in Iceland, and one in Chile/Dominican Republic.
