Milwaukee, WI- The University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin Panthers scored just before halftime and added two more in the second half to blank IPFW, 3-0 in the opener of the Panther Invitational Friday night.
UWM's Troy Spielmann got the game's first goal with just nine seconds left in the opening half on a rebound off of a 19 yard free kick from the toe of Zeke Dombrowski.
The Panthers added goals in the 55th and 89th minutes of play to send the Mastodons to 0-3-0 on the year.
IPFW will return to action on Sunday afternoon, facing the University of Wisconsin on the final day of the Panther Invitational.
