Fort Wayne, IN-IPFW took two more losses to Dayton to drop the season series to 0-4 for the 'Dons.  Game one was a heartbreaker for IPFW; the Mastodons relinquished a six run lead and ended up losing the game 7-6.  In game two, Dayton was able to keep their momentum going, defeating the 'Dons 6-1.

In the bottom of the first inning IPFW cycled through their batting order, with three `Dons reaching the batter's box twice.  IPFW was able to score six runs in the inning off of singles by Ashley Tharp and Ty Lambert, as well as two errors, five walks, and a wild pitch by Dayton.

Dayton made their big comeback in the fourth inning, scoring four runs off of four hits and an IPFW error.  They got the tying and winning runs in the fifth.

Tara Mickelson led the `Dons in game one with two hits and a run, while Michelle Meighen contributed a hit as well.

Dayton reliever Chelsea Grozenski was credited with the win, while IPFW's Jenna Connelly dropped to 0-3 on the year.

In game two action, IPFW was down just 2-1 going into the seventh, but couldn't hold on, giving up four runs in the last inning, locking down the win for Dayton.

IPFW only had two hits in the second game, credited to outfielders Angela Pasquali and Beatrice Pedraza; Pedraza also had the lone RBI of the game.

IPFW starter Katie Aspegren took the loss.

IPFW will host Butler on Thursday, April 26 starting at 3:00 p.m.
