Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW men's basketball team had their D-I program-high six game winning streak snapped on Saturday at Valparaiso, and the road doesn't get any easier with a date at #14/13 Purdue on Tuesday night at Mackey Arena.

The Mastodons are led in scoring by senior guard Ben Botts (6-0/170/Muncie, IN) at 13.3 points a game.
Sophomore guard Frank Gaines (6-5/190/Ft. Lauderdale, FL) is averaging 13.1 points a game, and senior guard Zach Plackemeier (6-3/190/St. Charles, MO) rounds out the top-three scorers for the 'Dons at 11.2 points a contest.

The Mastodons suffered their worst loss of the year at Valparaiso, 63-47. The normally hot-shooting 'Dons were held to just 26% shooting from the field. Look for senior guards Zach Plackemeier and Ben Botts to rebound from a combined three-point effort. IPFW's 7-3 record is still the best effort for a Mastodon team since becoming a Division I program in 2001-02.
SCOUTING THE BOILERMAKERS
Purdue is led by their multi-talented seniors E'Twaun Moore (6-4/191/Guard/E. Chicago, IN) and JaJuan Johnson (6-10/221/Center/Indianapolis, IN). Moore is averaging 20.3 points a game (27th in the nation). Johnson is adding 19.5 a contest. (40th). Sophomore guard John Hart (6-2/196/So./Beech Grove, IN) rounds out the top-three in scoring for Purdue at 8.4 ppg.

Purdue will look try to take advantage inside quickly. Watch the match-up between JaJuan Johnson and IPFW junior forward Trey McCorkle. Purdue will try to push the tempo on the Mastodons. Purdue is 76-12 at Mackey Arena under Matt Painter and has won 11 straight over in-state opponents.
