SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
Oral Roberts enters Monday's contest with an overall record of 12-7, including a 6-2 mark in the Summit League. The Golden Eagles have won four of their five games played in the month of January with their only setback coming on Jan. 14 at IUPUI. Oral Roberts most recently defeated Oakland on Saturday by the final score of 62-53.
The Oral Roberts offense runs through Kevi Luper. The 5-10 guard is averaging 23.1 points per game. She recently became the fourth player in Oral Roberts University women's basketball history to score 2,000 career points. She scored a game-high 19 points on Saturday night as Oral Roberts defeated Oakland.
Jordan Pyle and Georgia Jones also impact the Golden Eagle lineup. Pyle averages 12.7 points per contest and controls the paint for Oral Roberts leading the team with nearly seven rebounds per game. Jones works as the floor general leading the team with 5.2 assists per game.

IPFW trails Oral Roberts in the all-time series 6-3. The Mastodons were swept by ORU a year ago with a 91-78 loss on the road followed by a 76-74 setback at home. The series has been competitive over recent years as IPFW swept the series during the 2009-10 season with a 74-72 win at the Mabee Center and a 96-83 win at home.

Haley Seibert had a career night against Southern Utah pouring in 21 points and adding four assists, but it wasn't enough as the 'Dons fell 80-68 in Cedar City. IPFW is still searching for their first road win of the season.
The Thunderbirds took advantage of IPFW shooting just 24 percent in the first half to open up a 33-21 lead at halftime. The Mastodons shot 48 percent in the second half, but they were unable to stage a comeback as each team posted 47 points in the second half.
Amanda Hyde and Stefanie Mauk each played well for IPFW in the second half. Hyde scored all 10 of her points in the final twenty minutes of action and Mauk contributed with 15 of her 16 points in the final half.
CLIMBING THE CONFERENCE LADDER
IPFW senior Anne Boese is in a race with South Dakota State senior Jill Young to see who is the best three point shooter in Summit League history. Both Boese and Young have passed the old record of 262, set by Brenna Doty from 1994-97. Boese is currently in first with 274, while Young is close behind at 270. The record will likely change hands numerous times over the second half of the season, and after the dust settles, one of the two will hold the all-time mark.
