SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN

In the loss to New Hampshire, the Big Green were led by Alex Mitola who scored 17 points on 3-of-14 shooting from the field and 9-of-10 from the free throw line, while Jvonte Brooks had a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double.
This season the Big Green have three players that average at least 10 points, led by Gabas Maldunas, who averages 16.5 points, with Mitola (14.5), and John Golden (10.0) each in double figures. Brooks puts in 8.0, while Malik Gill averages 5.0.
Brooks averages 10 rebounds per game for Dartmouth, who have been out-rebounded by 15 through two games of the season. Mitola leads the team with 2.5 assists per game, while Maldunas has six steals and six blocked shots, each most on the team.
GETTING LOW
When the IPFW Mastodons held the Judson Eagles to 22 points, it was the lowest point total given up by IPFW, outside of a 2-0 forfeit victory over IU Southeast on February 12, 1977.
HIGH MARGINS
IPFW's 70-point win over Judson was the highest margin of victory in IPFW history, topping the previous high of 52 against Marygrove on December 18, 2006.
HIGH SCORER
According to ESPN.com as of November 17, IPFW senior Frank Gaines stands 17th in the country, averaging 22.2 points per game, falling from the top spot which he occupied earlier in the year.
RECORD-SETTING PERFORMANCE
In IPFW's triple-overtime win over Texas-Pan American, the Mastodons set numerous team and individual school records. It was the team's first multi-overtime game since IPFW toppled Western Illinois 97-95 in five overtimes on November 21, 2005.
IPFW's 57 free throw attempts are a new single-game school record, and the team's 32 free throw made are the fifth-most. The team's 63 rebounds are the second-highest total in school history, while Frank Gaines' 21 free throw attempts are the most in a single-game in program history.
