FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW Mastodons and Miami RedHawks meet for the second time in each program's history, as the game is also homecoming for IPFW.

SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
Miami head coach John Cooper makes a return trip to Fort Wayne, as he played with the Fort Wayne Fury for the 1991-92 season after graduating from Wichita State in 1991.
The squad, which sits at 3-2 on the season with losses to nationally ranked opponents N.C. State and Louisville, is led by a balanced attack from Allen Roberts and Reggie Johnson who average 12.6 and 11.6 points per game each. Jon Harris averages 8.4, while Will Felder puts in 7.0. Bill Edwards was averaging 9.2 points per game in 20 minutes of action for the RedHawks, but is out of action for the game.
Harris and Felder average 5.8 and 5.2 rebounds per game, each, as Quinten Rollins averages 4.2 assists, and his 5.25 assist-to-turnover ratio ranks 11th nationally.
ALL-TIME SERIES
IPFW and Miami have met once prior, a 65-52 RedHawk win over the Mastodons in West Lafayette, Indiana. Miami jumped out to a 42-25 halftime lead in the game, and led by 14 with 17:29 to play before the Mastodons ran off 12 straight points to cut the gap to two four minutes later, but could not get over the hump and take a lead in the second half, falling 63-52.
David Simon scored 22 for the Mastodons, while Keion Henderson had 11 points and nine rebounds. Miami was led by Josh Hausfeld and Juby Johnson, who scored 16 and 15 points, respectively. .
IPFW vs the MAC
IPFW is currently 2-21 all-time against teams from the Mid-American Conference, while head coach Tony Jasick has an 0-1 record against MAC opponents, with the one game coming this season against Eastern Michigan.
