Men's Golf Opens 2012-13 in New York

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW men's golf squad opens its 2012-13 season at the Fourth Annual Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Missouri at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, N.Y.

COMPETING TEAMS
There are 13 teams in the tournament field this year, and IPFW is the only squad from The Summit League. Other teams in the field include Army, Canisius, Central Connecticut State, Cincinnati, Cleveland State, Delaware, Louisville, Loyola, Memphis, Missouri, St. Peters, and Villanova.

IPFW LINEUP
The Mastodon lineup for the event will include a pair of seniors in Drew Imel and Bruno Carvalho, two sophomores in Jacob Groninger and E.J. Tackett, and a freshman in Drake Devereux. Freshman Logan Barker will be at the event, competing as an individual.

ABOUT THE COURSE
The Kaluhyat Course at the Turning Stone Resort is a 7,105-yard par 72 course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
