Kiefer Earns Tennis Player of the Week Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – Caterina Kiefer was recognized as The Summit League's women's tennis player of the week for her performances from March 5-11. This is the second time Kiefer has earned the honor as she also took the award on Feb. 19.
Kiefer posted a pair of straight-set singles wins at the No. 2 position and collected two doubles wins during the week to help lead her team to 7-0 victories over Green Bay and Bradley.
Against Green Bay, Kiefer won 6-0 and 6-2 over Green Bay's Stephanie Londre and scored a 6-2 and 6-0 victory over Bradley's Sarah Rodefeld. At No. 1 doubles, Kiefer teamed with Anita Henestrosa for wins over Green Bay (8-4) and Bradley (8-2). For the year, Kiefer owns an 11-4 singles record and 14-4 doubles mark.
