INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The IPFW women's basketball team will look to push their Summit League winning streak to three games as the 'Dons travel down I-69 to face in-state rival IUPUI on Saturday, January 25 for a 3 p.m. game.

Scouting the Jaguars
Last time out, the Jaguars were led by Akilah Sims who scored a career-high 18 points and led four double-digit scorers as IUPUI defeated Denver 82-66. DeAirra Goss, Nicole Rogers and Katie Comello joined Sims in double figures with Goss scoring 16 points, Rogers adding 13 and Comello chipping in 10 off the bench.
IUPUI has won its last three games, with their lone loss in the Summit League coming on the road at South Dakota State. The Jaguars are 7-2 at home this season, both loses coming at the hands of teams the 'Dons have also played in Purdue and Indiana.
All-Time Series
IUPUI holds a one game advantage, 12-11, in the all-time series, including winning the last three meetings. IPFW however has the advantage 7-5 all-time in Summit League games. The 'Dons are 7-4 all-time in Indianapolis, with their last win in the Jungle a 84-59 game on February 7, 2011. Just one game in the series has gone to overtime, with IUPUI taking it 72-62 on February 25, 2008 in Fort Wayne. Amanda Hyde averaged 22 points per game last season against the Jags, including a 30 point game on December 28.

Haley Seibert earned her first career player of the week honors January 21 as she was named Co-Player of the Week by The Summit League and the College Sports Madness Summit League Player of the Week.

Entering action this week, Amanda Hyde averages 23.3 points per game, but she does more than just shoot. Hyde's 4.6 assists per game ranks her sixth in the Summit League and puts her among elite company in the NCAA. Hyde is just one of two players in Division I women's basketball whom averages at least 20.0 points and 4.5 assists per game. The only other player entering the week is Jennifer Schlott of Utah State. If you add rebounds, Hyde is the only player to average 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
Three-Point Streak...
The IPFW Mastodons have made a 3-point field goal in 453 straight contests, a stretch that ranks as the third longest active streak in NCAA Division I. Iowa State's streak is at the top of the list by making a 3-point field goal in 598 consecutive games. Sam Houston State is the only other team head of IPFW with 551 after Connecticut had their streak snapped vs. Notre Dame in the Big East Tournament last year at 505 games.
