Gleckler Paces Mastodons at Pre-Nationals

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - IPFW senior Garret Gleckler led seven Mastodons in competition at the 2014 Indiana State University Pre-Nationals Invitational held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
IPFW took 28th in the field, as Indiana won the "White" race with a team score of 164, just ahead of Drake (170) and Loyola (171).
Gleckler took 179th in the field with a time of 28:22.4, while Gabe O'Keefe placed 184th in a time of 28:33.5.
Jordan Holloman was the third finisher for the Mastodons, taking 189th in 29:33.5, while the Unger twins rounded out the top five, Kurt placing 190th in a time of 29:34.3, and Brett 191st in 29:56.4. Paul Smith (192nd, 30:10.9) and Ryan Curtis (193rd, 30:11.0) rounded out the seven Mastodons in the field.
After a weekend off, the Mastodons return to action at the 2014 Summit League Championships, hosted by North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D.
