
Undefeated Mastodons Take on Georgia Tech

ATLANTA - The undefeated IPFW men's basketball team takes to the road to face off against ACC opponent Georgia Tech on Friday evening, in the first-ever meeting between the two squads. The Mastodons, who are 2-0 for the first time since 1999, will take on the Yellow Jackets who are also 2-0 after wins over Georgia and Alabama A&M.

SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
Georgia Tech comes into the game with a perfect 2-0 record with a seven-point win over Georgia and a 20-point victory over Alabama A&M.
Charles Mitchell leads the team with averages of 16.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, as Quinton Stephens and Demarco Cox average 14.5 and 11.5 points per game, respectively. Robert Sampson pulls down 7.0 rebounds per game, as the Yellow Jackets average 17.5 offensive rebounds per game - six per game from Mitchell.
Josh Heath has dished out a team-best 11 assists, as he has half of the team's 22 assists this year. Stephens has been the deep threat for the Yellow Jackets, hitting 7-of-11 from long range through two games (63.6%), and has seven of the team's 10 made three-pointers on the year.

• IPFW senior guard Isaiah McCray is coming off of a career-best effort against SIUE with a career high in points (23), rebounds (12), a career-high-tying six assists, while also blocking two shots.
