SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The IPFW women's basketball team kicks off the 2015 Summit League Tournament as the 8th seeded Mastodons face No. 1 seed South Dakota on March 7 at 1 p.m. ET.

Seibert Named Second Team All-League...
The Summit League has announced that IPFW women's basketball player Haley Seibert has been selected to the All-Summit League Second Team. It is the second time Seibert has earned Summit League honors after being named to the first team a season ago.
Seibert finished third in the Summit League scoring title race with 300 points in 15 games and second in points per game at 20.0. The senior guard led the league with 55 three-pointers made and 39 steals. She was fourth in 3-point and free throw percent at 44.3 and 86.8, respectively. Seibert's 44 assists in Summit League games ranked tied for seventh. A Terre Haute, Indiana native, Seibert earned her second career Summit League Player of the Week honor back on December 8.
Knocking 'Em Down at the Charity Stripe...
After a 6-for-7 night at the free throw line at Oral Roberts, IPFW guard Haley Seibert ranks sixth among NCAA Division I players in free throw percent at 91.2, for games played through March 3.
Seibert has connected on 125-of-137 attempts for the year, which includes a run of 54 consecutive made. Seibert trails national leader Nici Gilday of Santa Clara, who has made 98-of-104 attempts for a 94.2 percent. To qualify for the national rankings, players must make a minimum of 2.5 free throws per game and play in 75% of their team's games.
Three-Point Streak...
The IPFW Mastodons have made a 3-point field goal in 494 straight contests, a stretch that ranks as the second longest active streak in NCAA Division I. Iowa State's streak is at the top of the list by making a 3-point field goal in 641 consecutive games. Sam Houston State had its 583 game streak snapped against Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Feb. 7, shooting 0-of-15 from beyond the arc.
Seibert Shoots into the top-10
With 22 points against IUPUI on Feb. 11, Haley Seibert jumped to ninth all-time among IPFW players in career scoring, passing Rhonda Unverferth (1982-85) with 1,293 points. The senior has accumulated 1,365 points as a Mastodon. She sits behind Teena Merrell (1986-90) who has 1,480 points.
