COLUMBUS, Ohio – Harthaller's 10 kills and five digs were not enough as the 14th-ranked IPFW men's volleyball team fell in straight sets at No. 11 Ohio State on Saturday evening. Both teams were locked in a close opening set as the Mastodons and Buckeyes were knotted at nine each midway through. Later on, a Harthaller kills gave the 'Dons a 16-13 lead over Ohio State. Once again the teams battled closely, being knotted at six early in the second set. The Buckeyes took an early 6-5 lead in the third set and seemed to take control for the remainder of the match, eventually going up 15-10 and 20-15. The Blue and White refused to go quietly as they fended off three match points in the end, cutting the OSU lead to 24-21. However, following an Ohio State timeout, the Buckeyes would seal the win with a kill.
