Fortunately neither of the matches at Grand Canyon will make a difference for us on whether or not we host on the 24th. We have a few injuries right now and hopefully the home match in a few weeks will give us some time to heal.
On being recognized throughout the season:
It has been sad. It's been happy. It has been a lot of different emotions, but certainly it has been humbling for the recognitions I have received across the conference and across the country. It just means that, number one, I've been doing this a long time, and number two, that we've made some great friends along the way. That's what I'll cherish and miss the most, those friends.
On facing Grand Canyon:
Our most difficult factor going to Phoenix is trying not to get hurt. Since these matches won't factor into our standings, obviously we still want to play well and we still want to win, but I'll probably play some kids who haven't had a much of a chance this year. It'll give them some experience at the end of the year and rest some of the others heading into the tournament on the 24th.
