The Fort Wayne women's soccer team was awarded with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's 2015-2016 Team Academic Award on Thursday (Oct. 6). The Mastodons had a team GPA of 3.48 during the 2015-2016 academic school year, making them one of the 578 women's soccer teams with an average of 3.0 or higher. The women's soccer team, led by head coach Jason Burr, performed to an exemplary level in the classroom. This is the women's soccer third NSCAA Team Academic Award in Burr's three-year tenure in Fort Wayne, and sixth in a row.
