
Men's Golf Heads to Kentucky for Kenny Perry Invite

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Coming off a third-place performance two weeks ago, the Fort Wayne men's golf team returns to the golf course of the WKU Kenny Perry Invitational October 10-11.
Event: WKU Kenny Perry Invitational
Host: Western Kentucky
When: October 10 (8:30 a.m. off Nos. 1 and 10) and 11 (9 a.m. off No. 1)
Where: The Club at Olde Stone| Bowling Green, Ky.
Par: 72
Yardage: 7,200
Format: 54-hole stroke play with 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday

COMPETING TEAMS
Fort Wayne will compete against 11 other teams. The Mastodons and host Western Kentucky will be joined by: Belmont, Cleveland State, Eastern Kentucky, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville State, Kentucky, Mercer, Southern Mississippi, Samford and Tennessee Tech.
THE COURSE
Olde Stone was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Arthur Hills. Created with deep respect for the land, Mr. Hills was given free reign to create masterpiece on terrain that he describes as "one of the absolute best sites we've worked on". New added Zeon Zoysia fairways and classic bentgrass greens are dotted with 99 bunkers. Designed to provide an outstanding golf experience, The Club at Olde Stone is woven into the landscape, which is a combination of rolling hills, flatlands, trees, native grasses and water. A vertical change of over 160 feet between the highest and lowest points on the property and water hazards that come into play on five holes.
