Fort Wayne Earns 0-0 Tie With Wright State in Final Exhibition Match-Up

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fort Wayne men's soccer completed their final exhibition game of the season on Friday (Aug. 19) evening in a contest against Wright State. The game concluded in a 0-0 tie. No overtimes were played as the match was part of the Shindigz National Soccer Festival.
Fort Wayne's offense earned several good looks in the first half against Wright State goalkeeper Ryan Pignatiello who picked up two saves to keep the halftime score locked at zeroes.
After three saves in a scoreless first half performance, Fort Wayne goalkeeper, Raphael Kotzock, was replaced by teammate Jorge Trujillo.
The Mastodons concluded the contest outshooting the visitors 11-8, with Will Hunt taking three shots. They combined for four saves between Kotzock and Trujillo's performances.
Fort Wayne returns to action on Friday, August 26 as they play their first regular season match-up of the year against Saint Joseph's (Ind.) in a 7:00 p.m. start time.
