FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Coming off a 2-1 record during the opening weekend, the Fort Wayne women's volleyball team heads to Western Michigan for its first road match of the season on August 30 at 7 p.m.

Fort Wayne women's volleyball libero Olivia Hahn was named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week for her performance during the season-opening weekend, Aug. 26-28. The honors mark the first weekly awards of the season.
It is Hahn's fourth career Defensive Player of the Week award. Over 12 sets, Hahn averaged a league-high 5.83 dig per set in three matches. Her average was a full 1.03 digs per set better than anyone else in the league. In three matches during the Fort Wayne Invitational, Hahn recorded 70 total digs.
In the first match of the season, Hahn logged 24 digs in four sets against Murray State. She followed that up with 19 digs in a three-set win over Youngstown State before closing out the weekend with 27 digs in a five-set win over Ball State. Hahn was also named to the All-Tournament Team of the Fort Wayne Invitational.
