Fort Wayne struck first with an unassisted goal from Mogler in the 14th minute as she beat out the goalie for the ball and placed a shot in the lower left corner.
The Penguins responded with a 30-yard chip shot from Marissa Martin in the 19th minute to even the score.
Mogler snagged her second goal in minute 25, getting an assist from Gabbie Mann. Mogler dribbled toward the left post, and snuck the ball past the goalie into the lower right corner.
Allyson Hayner scored a goal of her own in minute 41, knocking in a corner kick from Malissa Hofmeister.
To start out the second half, Mogler fought Youngstown State keeper Katie Montgomery for possession and found the top left corner of the goal 11 minutes into the half. This was her third goal of the game and the season.
YSU's Ernestina Abambila scored on a penalty kick at 58:43, then Katie Hackos scored with eight minutes left in regulation to bring the score to 4-3.
Fort Wayne's four goals were the most against a Division I opponent since 2014.
A free kick with 15 seconds left gave YSU one last chance as it put Alison Green one-on-one with Kiley Dunning, but Dunning came away with the save to give Fort Wayne the win. Dunning logged 11 saves in 90 minutes, boosting her season total to 39.
Fort Wayne will be back in action on Sunday as the 'Dons travel to Dayton, Ohio to face Wright State.
