South Dakota (12-8, 3-2 Summit) is playing their third straight home game on Saturday vs. Fort Wayne. The Coyotes defeated IUPUI to open the stretch and fell to 70-69 North Dakota State on Wednesday. The North Dakota State loss was the Coyotes' first in their new arena after winning eight straight at home to start the season. Matt Mooney is averaging 15.5 points per game for South Dakota.

The Mastodons (14-4, 3-1 Summit) start a stretch of three straight away from home, all against the Dakota schools. The 'Dons rank fifth in the nation in field goal percentage (51.0 percent). Defensively, the 'Dons are forcing a Summit League best 15.8 turnovers per game.

Mo Evans picked up his 1,000th career point this year. He is the 13th player in program history to reach the plateau. He now owns 1,297 career points and ranks sixth all-time in scoring at Fort Wayne. To reach the fifth spot he will need to pass Ben Botts' 1,400 points. Botts played for Fort Wayne from 2007-11 and is a current assistant coach for the 'Dons.
