SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
Fort Wayne (12-4, 2-1 Summit) used a last second shot by John Konchar to defeat Omaha on Wednesday. The 'Dons are the only team in the league with two players in the top five in scoring. Mo Evans ranks third with 17.9 points per game and Bryson Scott is fifth with 16.3 points per game.
THE SERIES
Fort Wayne leads the all-time series with Denver 5-1. The 'Dons have won the last four meetings with Denver's only win coming Feb. 15, 2015. Last season Fort Wayne defeated Denver 65-64 in Denver and 88-84 in Fort Wayne.
LAST TIME OUT
The Mastodons led for only 3:12 of the contest on Wednesday during Fort Wayne's 80-78 win at Omaha. John Konchar finished with a career-high 33 points in the game.

In addition, earlier this season the 'Dons received a vote in two USA Today Coaches Polls and an Associated Press Top 25 Poll. It was the first time in program history the 'Dons have received a vote in the USA Today and AP Polls.

Fort Wayne ranks third in 3-point field goal percentage (42.4 percent), seventh in scoring (89.2), ninth in field goal percentage (50.3 percent), ninth in 3-pointers per game (10.4) and ninth in total steals (140).
NEARLY BOTTS-LIKE NUMBERS
Mo Evans picked up his 1,000th career point vs. Kenyon. He is the 13th player in program history to reach the plateau. He now owns 1,252 career points and ranks sixth all-time in scoring at Fort Wayne. To reach the fifth spot he will need to pass Ben Botts' 1,400 points. Botts played for Fort Wayne from 2007-11 and is a current assistant coach for the 'Dons.
EVANS FROM LONG RANGE
Mo Evans has another Ben Botts mark in his sights. Evans owns 216 career 3-pointers. His total is third place all-time in program history. Next up is second place Botts with 237. Nick Wise is the all-time leader, making 246 from 1999-02.

SENSATIONAL SENIOR
Senior Brent Calhoun is making his senior year his best. He is averaging 7.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. Each are on pace to be career bests.
KASON, KEEPIN' ON
Kason Harrell is averaging 10.8 points per game this season for the 'Dons after playing only 73 minutes last season. The sophomore has made a 3-pointer in all but one game this year. He had 21 points at Austin Peay on Nov. 30.

The 'Dons have scored 50 or more points in a half nine times this season. They've scored 100 points in a game on four occasions. The last season the 'Dons scored 100 points on four occasions in a season was in the 1999-00 season.
