LEXINGTON, Ky. – Junior John Konchar recorded 19 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals in Fort Wayne men's basketball's 86-67 setback at No. 8 Kentucky on Wednesday (Nov. 22) evening in front of a crowd of 20,645 at Rupp Arena.
Fort Wayne made six of their first 10 attempts from beyond the arc to start the game. The Mastodons went on an 8-0 run to take a 27-23 lead with 10:03 left in the first half. Kentucky responded to take a three-point lead, only to see a Konchar layup and dunk put the 'Dons back up 37-36 with 3:51 left in the first half. However the Wildcats responded with nine straight points to close the half. They took a 45-37 lead to the break. Six straight points by the Wildcats to start the second half put Kentucky up by double-digits.

Kentucky was led by Nick Richards' 25 points.
