No. 1 Ohio State Powers Past Mastodons

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne men's volleyball team fell to the hot-hitting No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-21) on Saturday at the Gates Sports Center.
The Buckeyes hit .739 and .500 in the first two sets respectively, while not having a single error in the first.
In the third set, the Mastodons jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but that was diminished by a seven-point run.
Pelegrin Vargas led Fort Wayne in kills with six, while five 'Dons chipped in two digs each.
The Buckeyes improve to 11-0 (2-0 MIVA) for sole possession of first place in the MIVA, while the 'Dons fall to 4-9 (1-1 MIVA).
Fort Wayne is back in action on Tuesday, as the 'Dons travel down I-69 for a matchup with No. 12 Ball State in Muncie, Ind. at 7:30 p.m.
