FARGO, N.D. – Fort Wayne women's track and field set two new school records on Saturday (May 13) during the final day of the 2017 Summit League Outdoor Championships.
Olivia Coleman, Sara Crawford, Lexi O'Connell and Kyley Marano ran a school-record time of 48.08 in the 4x100 relay for sixth.
Coleman, Savannah Girolami, Marano and Emma Rafuse ran the 4x400 relay in 3:58.96 for seventh place, also a school record.
Coleman and Girolami returned for the 400 meter dash. Coleman took seventh (57.42) and Girolami took ninth (59.74).
Emma Rafuse was ninth in the 1,500 meters with a personal best time of 4:39.72. O'Connell took ninth in the 100 hurdles (14.93). Jenna Quillen ran the 400 hurdles in a personal best time of 1:05.83 for ninth. Madison Fruchey took ninth in the 5,000 meters, stopping the clock in 18:16.13.
The 'Dons finished in eighth with 12 points. Host school North Dakota State won the team title.
