The Fort Wayne men's soccer team welcomes Conference USA opponent Marshall to the Hefner Soccer Complex. Seven different 'Dons have scored on the season, including two goals by Oscar Uyamadu and Keelan Barker. Zach Tom owns three assists on the season.
ABOUT THE MARSHALL (5-2-1, 1-1-0 Conference USA)
The 'Dons will be Marshall's second contest against a Summit League team this year. The Thundering Herd defeated Eastern Illinois 3-0 on Sept. 13. Marshall has 15 goals on the season, led by Lewis Knight's seven tallies.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Marshall owns both wins in the series and both came by 1-0 scores. The 'Dons fell in Fort Wayne on Sept. 3, 2012 and in Huntington, W.V. on Sept. 15, 2013. The 2013 contest was part of a tournament that saw the 'Dons also play Saint Francis (Pa.).
LEAGUE TIME
Following Tuesday's non-league match, the 'Dons play the bulk of their Summit League schedule over the next two weeks as Fort Wayne has games with Omaha, Oral Roberts and Denver.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Fort Wayne is also entering a stretch of five-of-six games away from Hefner. Following Tuesday, only two home games (Oct. 14 and Nov. 4) remain on Fort Wayne's schedule.
