Women's Basketball Drops Summit League Road Contest

TULSA, Okla. - The Fort Wayne women's basketball team dropped its Summit League road game at Oral Roberts Thursday night (Feb. 1), 66-45.
The Mastodons were led by Peyton Fallis with 13 points while adding four rebounds and two assists. De'Jour Young finished with six points and a team-high five rebounds.
Fort Wayne came out and hit its first shot of the night, but it would be the only lead of the game for the Mastodons. From there, Oral Roberts went on a 12-0 run in a two minute span to take the lead for good. The 'Dons cut the deficit to five at the start of the third quarter, but that would be as close as the Mastodons would get down the stretch as the Golden Eagles responded with 11 straight points.
The 'Dons shot 16-of-46 (34.8%) from the field, 5-of-21 (23.8%) beyond the arc and 8-of-13 (61.5%) at the free throw line.
Fort Wayne closes out its six-game road trip when it travels to Denver Sunday, February 4, for a 3 p.m. ET tipoff.
