4x100 Squad Sets School Record On Final Day of League Championships

TULSA, Okla. – A school record in the 4x100 relay highlighted the third and final day of the 2018 Summit League Championships on Saturday (May 12).
Tyra Hunt, Olivia Coleman, Lexi O'Connell and Ally Bailey combined for the school record time of 47.79 in the 4x100. The Mastodons took fifth after entering the event seeded seventh.
Fort Wayne had a season-best time in the 4x400 relay. Hunt, Coleman, Bailey and Hope Crabtree finished sixth (4:03.89).
Emma Rafuse grabbed sixth in the 1500 meters, turning in a time of 4:36.31. Rafuse also scored points for the 'Dons in the 5K. She took seventh, notching a time of 17:45.71. Rebecca Sippel was 17th in the 5K (19:23.87).
The Mastodons totaled 12 points to take seventh. South Dakota and North Dakota State tied for the team championship.
