Scouting the Mastodons (3-5-3, 0-1-0 Summit League)
The Mastodons are led by freshman Kayla Wisniewski up front, as she has six goals on the year. Hannah Kroger sets up the midfield, leading the team with five assists so far this season. Senior Haley Lydon has played the majority of the minutes in the net, racking up 35 saves and a shutout.
Scouting the Bison (4-4-0, 1-0-0 Summit League)
The Bison are heading into their last matchup in a four-match road stretch, in which they have gone into overtime twice. North Dakota State is 1-0 in the league after a double-overtime win at Western Illinois. Mariah Haberle leads the team with three goals on the year. Monica Polgar, who was named to the All-Summit League Second Team as a freshman, has played all available minutes in goal for the Bison, tallying 36 saves and a shutout.
Pink Out
The matchup between Purdue Fort Wayne and North Dakota State will serve as the Mastodons' Pink Out game. Pink Out is used to raise money and awareness for the Vera Bradley Foundation to fight breast cancer.
When We Last Met
Last season, North Dakota State took a 4-0 victory on its home field Britney Monteon scored the game-winning goal and Mariah Haberle scored two second half goals. Haberle is back for her junior campaign this year.
Mastodon Brick Wall
Senior keeper Haley Lydon earned the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday (Sept. 24). She earned this honor behind an eight-save shutout against Chicago State. Her eight saves also moved her into seventh place in the program's career saves category.

Freshman Kayla Wisniewski ranks second in the Summit League in goals, goals per game, and shot accuracy. She also comes in third in total points and game-winning goals. Hannah Kroger leads the League in total assists and is second in assists per game.
You Get an Assist, and You Get an Assist, and...
In the Mastodons' match against Chicago State, the team recorded eight assists, which set the program record for assists in a single match. This was also good for 10th in the country in single-match assists this season.
Spreading the Ball Around
The Mastodons have had six different players score so far this season, led by Kayla Wisniewski, who has six. There have also been nine 'Dons to distribute an assist, but Hannah Kroger leads that category with five.

Fleming is Fast
Senior Paityn Fleming holds the record for the fastest goal scored in a Mastodon uniform. She scored 28 seconds after the opening kick against Denver on October 27, 2017. Fleming surpassed former teammate Gaby Romo for the fastest goal, who scored in 34 seconds against IUPUI in 2016.

Purdue Fort Wayne fell to League foe South Dakota State with a final line of 2-1. Kayla Wisniewski scored for the Mastodons, netting her sixth goal of the year, moving her into seventh in program history in single-season goals.
